Asian Pragmatism Network (APN), founded in 2024, connects the burgeoning field of pragmatism studies with the growing importance of Asia in global scholarship.

APN has three main objectives:

1. Providing support for scholars, educators, and students in Asia who have research interests in pragmatism.
2. Facilitating dialogue between pragmatism and Asian traditions for their mutual enrichment.
3. Encouraging the use of pragmatism as a conceptual tool or methodology in Asian studies.

Our scope
Scholars and students located anywhere in the world are welcome to join APN or participate in our events. All APN real world/offline events are physically located in Asia.

By “Asia” we mean the whole of continental Asia, as well as the Asia Pacific. We also include all countries that are partly in Asia.
